So Emily (my sister) is doing this first three people thing, and since I am crazy competive, here goes.
The first 3 people to respond to this post will get something crafty made by me! My choice. For you. This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:1. I make no guarantees you will like what I make.2. What I create will be just for you.3. It will be done this year.4. You have no clue what it’s going to be.5. I reserve the right to do something extremely strange. The catch is that you must repost this on your blog and offer the same to the first 3 people who do the same on your blog. The first 3 people to do so and leave a comment telling me they did win a FAB-U-LOUS homemade gift by me! Oh, and be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it! Who’s in? Good luck!!!

Goals For the Week
As for the previous week, I did successfully achieve the goal of watching Naruto (20 Episodes actually) but I did not complete my goal of becoming a fitness trainer, I know, sniff sniff. I tried to get several people to ask me to train them at the gym, but no takers. So my goals for this next week are
1.Make dinners from things already in my pantry, minus $5.00 per day.
2.Draw or paint 2 pictures
Wish me luck!

St. Patty's Day
This is my third St. Patrick's Day without the kids. Last one we were in Mississippi and the one before fell on a Sunday, which was their dads day. But, as I said before this is Mark's holiday, so of course I can not relax, nono, I think each year they get more and more extravagant. The best part about creating a holiday for an adult, is that you do not have to dye the food green anymore or leave leprechaun footprints all over the house (did they come to your house this year Em?)! What we do do however is get a new green shirt and socks. This year Mark got a white dress shirt and an amazing green tie, yeppers all grown up! I then cooked for hours creating our authentic irish meal, which consisted this year of corned beef and cabbage, irish soda bread and irish creme brulee, all of which were so good that I actually ate until I threw up, and not on purpose, yea (self control, whats that?)! But the best part of all the game was, the scavenger hunt provided by the fitness center. Wow! Not only do I have throbbing thighs (no driving allowed) but I have a pair of shoes, sitting at the front door covered in 2 inches of mud (i.e. shortcuts)! However the epitome of this event was the fact that we came in dead last, oh yes last the best of all the game!! Congrats to the three top teams that just so happened to work there....huh......

Achieving Goals
So St. Patty's Day is tuesday, and its like the only holiday Mark celebrates (other than all the ones I make him celebrate), so for the squadrons traditional thursday treat day, I made Irish Cream Bites. I kind of invented it. Its a sugar cookie base with irish cream, and butterscotch shnapps added in. I saw a recipe and and thought I would tweek it. It had a cream cheese frosting made with a little irish cream (liquer all cooked out proir of course). I think it was one of my bigger success' with his work. Mark gave me the title of "Top Chef", I made him text it to me, so I have proof! So for goals, one down, one to go. Has anyone looked at my blog?

The Last Hanks Girl to Do it.
So, this is my first attempt at blogging. I think in reality it is a way for us to attemp hilarity. Is there spell check in the blogging place? I do not even know where to start. First I need to know my target audience and as of now that is me, but if I am just doing this for me then why do I need a journal. I think my goal for this week will be to get three other people to read my blog. Its a good goal. I am watching Top Chef Season 3. I want to be on Top Chef as my other goal for this week. I am hoping for 100 percent in achieving my weekly goals. cross your fingers. (whoo Hoo, Mark just read it)
